Licensed Psychologist

she/her

Dr. Kate is a licensed counseling psychologist providing in person and virtual sessions for couples and individuals. She provides services in all participating Psypact States. In individual therapy, Dr. Kate loves supporting folks who are high-functioning professionals who are seeking more in their lives. Many of Dr. Kate's clients are folks who feel that on the outside, they appear to have it all together, but on the inside, things feel overwhelming and hard to manage. Dr. Kate's clients tend to hold multiple roles in their lives (i.e., professional, partner, parent, adult child of aging parents, friend), and put themselves and their own needs on the backburner. Many of these folks might be experiencing burnout, perfectionism, fatigue, anxiety, grief, and/or depressive symptoms.

Dr. Kate's specialities include working with folks who have anxiety, OCD, and/or phobias, members of the queer community, and survivors of sexual trauma. Dr. Kate also provides sex therapy services to women who are working on reclaiming their relationships to their sexualities, including addressing sexual shame, religious or sexual trauma, sexual identity or orientation exploration, and/or sexual anxiety and low desire.

Dr. Kate also provides couples and relationship therapy to those in relationships where there might be frequent communication issues, cyclical arguing, sexual discrepancies, or other forms of stuckness.

Clients have described Dr. Kate as warm, non-judgmental, funny, insightful, and skilled in holding space for difficult feelings.
