Quannah Parker-McGowan, PhD, PsyD, BCBA has dedicated her career to supporting children from birth through adolescence, as well as their parents and caregivers. She began her work in special education as a teacher and later served as a special education administrator, developing a deep understanding of the educational, developmental, and emotional needs of children and families.

Dr. Parker-McGowan earned her Master of Arts in Special Education from Loyola Marymount University and a Master of Education in Mind, Brain, and Education from Harvard University. She went on to earn both a PhD in Educational Psychology from the University of Minnesota and a PsyD in Counseling Psychology from the University of St. Thomas.

She specializes in assessment of autism spectrum disorder and ADHD as well as providing therapy for children and adolescents who have experienced trauma and early life stressors, including foster care placement, adoption, and medical complexity. Her approach to assessment and therapy integrates both relational and behavioral perspectives, recognizing the importance of relationships, developmental context, and evidence-based interventions in promoting resilience and growth.

Dr. Parker-McGowan is also a certified Attachment and Bio-behavioral Catch-up(ABC) facilitator, providing relationship-based intervention for infants and young children from birth through 24 months and their caregivers.

Outside of work, Quannah loves marathons, triathlons, reading, cooking, and cajoling her teenagers to hang out with her and her husband.
